  1. Performance Characteristics and Applications

In response to the shortcomings of catalysts used in various domestic and international processes for producing dimethyl ether from methanol dehydration, such as high operating temperatures, poor selectivity, low strength, and short lifespan, Changge Longji Industrial Co., Ltd. has collaborated with the Coal Science Institute and the inventor of the dimethyl ether energy-saving production process to develop a highly active methanol dehydration catalyst for dimethyl ether production. Its characteristics are:

1. High single-pass conversion rate of methanol, with a single-pass conversion rate greater than 85.0%.

2. Good selectivity, with few side reactions, and a selectivity for dimethyl ether greater than 99.9%.

3. Low initial reaction temperature, with uniform bed temperature; at the activation temperature of 240°C, methanol has a high conversion rate, using a temperature-controlled reactor, with the maximum bed temperature rise not exceeding 50°C.

4. The catalyst is added with a special acidic stabilizer, ensuring that the acidic centers are stable and not easily lost, with strong anti-coking ability and long service life.

5. The catalyst uses advanced molding technology, resulting in high strength, uniform particle size, and low bed resistance.
